Provision of training on elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect is one of CCFMTC's statutory directives, and this training was
provided from 1996 to 2005. Due to state budget cuts, current funding limits us to
providing forensic medical training on sexual assault and child sexual abuse.
Vision
Our vision is to be a training resource on elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect
medical/evidentiary examinations when funding becomes available. Our purpose is to
increase access to trained healthcare providers by victims of elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect, and to increase their knowledge,
skills and abilities in this important subject area.
